Okay, so maybe it isn't that BIG of a reveal, but I have been looking forward to the day when I could say that we have the baby room done. And now here it is! I always said the babies could come whenever I got the room done (but I now realize I want them to stay in just a little bit longer).
SO HERE ARE THE PICS!
Clay's sister Jaime help me make the boards above the babies beds.
They are canvases covered with yellow seersucker fabric then we use white pique
fabric for the appliqued initial.
This is the covered canvas up close.
Another angle. We definitely need some more things to go on their shelves.
And now the other side of the room.
Here is one of the prints that is above the changing table. Clay insisted
that we have something Clemson in the room. Well I knew orange and purple weren't
quite going to go with the rest of the decor, so my WONDERFUL husband
found vintage Clemson football programs from the 1950's. We got them printed
and we think they look great! Go Tigers!
This is Rocky (my mom and I named him after driving back from Charleston
to Gainesville with him). I LOVE him. I always talk to him when I am in the
babies room to get his opinion on things. He was a great find at a thrift store.
And this is just looking from the other side of the room.
And lastly, this is hung on the wall of Clay's nursery when he was a babe. It just says everything important about Clay's birthday: how much
weighed, how long he was, where he was born, ect.
In maybe a few short weeks they will be in this room!!!
wooohooo!!!! I love it!!! Now it just needs those 2 little peanuts in it and it will be complete. Well, you might need an extra large diaper pail too! We are definitely thinking about you all and praying for you....hope you are feeling good. Love you Mandy!

ReplyDeleteI just ordered the calendars that have those clemson programs in them!!!! I can't WAIT to frame them for my son's room!!! What a precious nursery!
ReplyDeleteNeat. We didnt know they had calendars with them in them. We found all of the programs from the last 60 or more years on line and just copied the files and did a little photoshopping. I ended up printing ten of them on this textured paper and it cost $3!!! But that is neat there are calendars!
