Christmas "Baking"

When the boys were in school on Monday, I put up all the Thanksgiving decorations and brought out the Christmas decorations. It really has put me in the mood for Christmas festivities so I thought I would do some baking with the boys. I don't really do much baking and my kitchen is pretty bare since it has been a while since we have gone to the grocery store (oops), so we just got out some cookie dough, put on Christmas music and did a little decorating with some random M&M's I found and some green sprinkles. The boys loved it (pretty much because it involved M&M's and cookies)...

Give Thanks!

This year we were in Charleston for Thanksgiving. It was so nice to have an extended amount of time to stay and have Clay there with us too! We drove down Wednesday night and didn't get home until Sunday night. This year it seemed EVERYONE was back home. My Mimi and Poppi have 12 grandchildren and now they have 13 great grands, with two more on the way! The weather was perfect and it was a great time to reflect on the Lord's goodness! Here are just a few pics from Thanksgiving at my Mimi's house...

Memories

Yesterday I ran across these pictures... They are from the beginning of this year. My friend Courtney Dox was in town and offered to take some pics of the boys. I was so excited because I love a good photo opportunity but QUICKLY I realized it was not going to be a good shoot. The boys cried the whole time, they both wanted to be held, I had to bribe them with snacks, and then still they cried. I thought it was a bust but then just yesterday I saw the pics for the first time. Yes they are crying. And yes they are crawling all over me, but I LOVE THEM. I love that Courtney captured this sweet time in the boys life, whether they were crying or not. So here are the pics from our photo shoot...

I miss these little babies. What happen?!? Clay and I cannot stop talking about how sad it is that they are growing up... Boy. Thanks again to Courtney... www.courtneydoxphotography.com !
