I absolutely love trick-or-treating with the kids, but this year was a little different. Halloween morning it was in the 70's. Then when we left to head to a Halloween party it was in the low 60's. It dropped into the 50's while we were there, and by time trick-or-treating was in full swing, it was in low 40's with a wind chill of 34! Yikes! I was frozen. And our poor kids had on flip flops! The boys were not phased a bit. They spent the whole night with a crew of their friends running through the hood as fast as they could. They said they were actually sweating! Clay and I drove the little ones around in the car when I had reached my frozen capacity. Once I was well heated, I got back to enjoying this sweet little time that we still have where they love the excitement that comes with Halloween.
After they had hit up almost every house, we headed back home to pour out candy and start the "negotiations"/trading. I love it. Here are a few pics before we headed out...
