Keller Is HOME!!!

He is HOME!!! God has been incredibly faithful and just flat out COOL during this whole process! The way He has orchestrated this in His timing has been neat to watch unfold. I was in Texas waiting on our paper work to be processed and it took a little longer than we had expected, but through a lot of prayer, I was able to get the news to come home and fly home all in the same day. I was starting to really miss the babes and Clay so it was a joyful occasion to be reunited with them and get to introduce them to their new baby brother... They love him! Here are some pics...

An Unexpected Gift...

We are overjoyed to share some really sweet news. This is an email that Clay sent out tonight to our family and friends....

Hello all,

We have some exciting news to share.  It has come upon us suddenly, and we want all of our friends and family to be in the loop.

On Wednesday we received an email from the adoption agency in San Antonio that helped us with Piper's adoption.  They were contacting us to make us aware that Piper's birth mother had given birth to a little boy on Monday June 1st.  He is a full blooded brother to our little Piper.

We immediately knew that this was a special opportunity that the Lord had presented to us...  For him to grow up in our family, alongside his sister, is an amazing blessing.  Within a couple of hours we notified the agency that we would like to adopt him.

To be honest, the agency wasn't expecting us to react that way.  They were not pressuring us to adopt him.  They really just wanted us to be aware that we had been born for the sake of Piper.  But after we expressed our desire, they agreed that this would be best for all involved.

We do have a few hoops to jump through before we can bring him home.  We were not technically ready to adopt from the standpoint of paperwork and other legal requirements.  The good news is that the ball is rolling and everyone we are working with has been very helpful.  We are hopeful that we can get to him in 3 weeks or so.  In the meantime, a very sweet family is keeping him for us.  It is the same family that took care of Piper until we could pick her up.

We'd appreciate any prayers.  He's in great hands, but we want him with us as soon as possible.  It is also a time to give praise... what an awesome blessing!

We are naming him Keller, and we can't wait to tell you more in the near future.

Love,

Clay and Mandy
