Summer Beginnings...

The reason I started my blog was so that my family could keep up with us (since we aren't in the same city) and also so I wouldn't forget the every day life I live. The older I get, the MORE I forget. It is SAD how much I do not remember. I knew that this would be a problem with the boys and me remembering their younger lives so I started to post. I write a little but like pictures more than reading :) I finally recently printed the first year of my blog. I haven't gotten it in the mail yet but I am excited to have a physical copy of it. I think it will be so neat to have each year to look back at. When I get it, if I like it, I will print the other two years... And since I haven't been up to speed on posting pics, here are a bunch of random pics of the last couple of weeks!

5 Years

Clay and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary on May 26. We wanted to get away but didn't want to spend too much money, so we dropped the boys off with my parents and headed to St. Simons to stay in Clay's parents new condo! It was a real treat to spend time together in such a pretty place. We didn't take many pictures but I did have some pics from Instagram to share...

May Days...

May has been a busy month... we had Mother's Day, welcomed our newest cousin Maggie home from China, and we (Clay and I) are about to head to St. Simons tomorrow to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary! Whoa! Here are some pics...

We are so excited that we have a brand new member of the family. Clay's sister Jaime and her husband Brandon are in China picking up their baby girl as we speak! She is the sweetest little thing I have ever seen. Yesterday Jaime and Brandon got to meet her for the first time! What a sweet reunion... I can't imagine! Here is a picture of Maggie a few weeks ago...
