Family Hike

THESE are the days I do not want to forget. We decided to go hiking Saturday morning as a family so we threw the kids in the car and headed up to Brasstown Bald. It was a gorgeous day and even the drive was so enjoyable. Because it has snowed a week before, the trail was covered in snow and ice and that made our hike a little more challenging but also made it more exciting for the kids. We were so proud of them for making it to the top. They loved the view and getting to have snacks once they made it. Here are a few pics of our adventure...

The "Big" Snow Storm of 2016

We finally got SNOW!!! Well, we got a little, but Clay's parents house got a little more so Saturday we packed up the kids to go enjoy some sledding up in Clarkesville. They loved it. Piper is the only one that had any type of real gear but they were able to make the most of it. The boys jeans were sopping wet! I don't know how they lasted as long as the did out in the cold. After they had sledded, wrestled in the snow and built a snowman, we all went in for hot chocolate and snacks. It was a really wonderful day of fun with the family. Here are some pics...
