I love a good "before and after" post of any sort. It gives you the satisfaction of seeing something made over, instantly! And though I would not call our new house a true renovation (you need lots of $$ for that sort of thing), we were able to paint and change light fixtures, which changed the look of the inside a lot! Of course I have big dreams for the house (a list a mile long I would like to do to it), but here are the changes so far...

Snow Day Turned Into Snow Week

So we got a lot more snow than just one day... and I LOVED it! It is so neat when the whole world (well our world) has to stop and no one can go anywhere. It is magical. It is so still and quiet (except for screams of joy from kids outside) and there is nothing to have to think about except what we are going to eat next :) We all are home as a family and I cant think of anything I love more! Snow Day

With all the cold we have been having, it was time for us to finally get our snow day! I was so excited that Clay was able to be home half day to enjoy it with the boys. Since I was flying out the next day to Dallas (or so I thought) with my friend Caitlin, she got to be here, as well as my mom, because she was watching the kids while I was out of town. Snow days are fun because I feel like every thing shuts down and people come out to play! Here are a few pics from the day...
