Piper is 6 Months!

Our little girl is getting old. She isn't an infant anymore for sure. She is now rolling over and so much more aware of everything around her. She is still just as sweet as she has always been. We are so blessed to call her our own! Here are a few pics I snapped her a few minutes ago...

Sharptop Cove 2013

We have been sick a lot around here, but the show must go on! Yep. Even though I had strep throat, Clay had a commitment to put on program (all the skits for the weekend camp) at Sharptop Cove. We packed the family up and really had a fun watching Clay entertain camp for the weekend with Drew McCleskey and another guy Will (who is also a volunteer leader here in Gainesville). I love Young Life and I was so glad that we got to bring the boys up to experience the fun. Good food, good people, good music, and lots of space to run around... It was perfect! Here are some pics from the weekend...

"Angel Baby" is the nickname I have given her BECAUSE
that is what she is. Perfect.

Hanging with Andy Dalton (the quarterback for the Bengals).
He loved Miller and Charlie.
They were terrified of their Daddy when he was
in character.
Watching a guy play guitar the last day of camp. They
LOVE guitars...

I will end with a picture of the boys last time we were at Sharptop doing program 2 years ago. I could cry...

Ready For Summer

This past month has been crazy for us... We have survived by God's sweet grace. We have too much to be thankful for and know that our small sufferings are not comparable to so many others but... man oh man, we have been through it. The boys have had fevers, ear infections, diarrhea, ear infections, throw up, ear infections, etc... We have traveled to Charleston to get tubes put in the boys ears for a second time and got out their adenoids taken out. When removing adenoids, they can be very sore for a while and so we have had some whiney boys this past week! All that coupled with a ton going on with church, Young Life and family makes for BUSY BUSY times! Makes me want a relaxing SUMMER to come! What better way to get in the mood for summer than to try on bathing suits! Here are some pics of Piper in her swimsuit that won't be fitting come summer...

4 Months Old

Yep, Piper is 4 months old! It seems all I can keep up with on here right now is some pics of Piper. The boys are so busy and have a lot of personality so it makes it a little harder to catch pics of them these days...

This past week we were in Charleston celebrating my Poppi's 83rd birthday, my Grandmomma's 80th birthday, Noah's 4th birthday, Eden's 2nd birthday and my brother Caleb's 26th birthday! IT WAS A BUSY WEEK. So busy that I have no pictures of any of it. I did take some pics of the 4 month old in a hat that my mom wore as a baby. Here they are...

Our Own Little Family Christmas

This year was the first time we experienced Christmas as our own little family. We woke up and did Santa Claus alone! It was different not being with ALL my family Christmas morning, but it was also special to realize we are becoming a family on our own with our own traditions, etc. I thought since the boys are only a little over 2 years old that it might not be as exciting but I was wrong. Clay and I had the best time setting up Christmas presents the night before. We couldn't wait to see them come down the stairs and see what "Santa" had brought them... As we did in my family, we read the Christmas story of Jesus' arrival and then sang "Hark The Harold". I almost started crying realizing that I was doing this for them just like my parents had done for me. We weren't a huge SANTA family (meaning once we asked if he was real, they said he wasn't) but we did say he came and I have special memories from those years. Here are some pics from our Christmas morning...
