Though we are in a new season of life with TONS going on, we still found some time to break away and head up to Clemson this past weekend. We have good days and we have not so good days, but God is awesome during both. He draws us so close on those hard days because we need Him so bad, and on the good days He shows us how amazing He is and how He truly cares for us. I am thankful for both types of days (even though the hard ones are HARD).
On our way back from Clemson, Clays said it was one of his favorite days ever with our boys. He woke up and took them to breakfast and the park so I could have some down time home with Piper. When he came home around 11 o'clock, he spontaneously asked if I would like to head Clemson for the game (that started at 12). Sure. Why not?! We packed up and headed to Tigertown.
The weather was AMAZING and we were able to make it into the 4th quarter with no tickets. As we headed down the hill to the stadium, the boys were freaking out with excitement. The stadium was loud and all they kept doing is screaming and saying " Hut hut! Hut hut!" We were able to see a touchdown and Clemson win the game. When the game ended, we hung out in the stadium with friends, got to go on the field, and Uncle Caleb and Uncle Jamie got to meet Piper for the first time! Then we headed to the Grinstead's tailgate where we finished out our day...
