Happy Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone. Thanking God for my sweet, rowdy boys!

Charlie and Miller

P.S.  If you think of it, be praying for Piper, she has developed some reflux issues and we are having a bit of a tough time with it. We know our God hears our prayers and we are asking Him to heal her so we would love for you to join with us in this request! Thanks...

Sprinkled with Love

On Sunday my dear friend Allison McCleskey threw me a "sprinkle" (... smaller than a "shower" because I have already had a baby). Though it was just a sprinkle, Piper was completely showered with love! Everyone has done SO much to bless us during this time and we really are overwhelmed with peoples sweetness. Especially my dear friend Allison... She has become one of my closest friends and a HUGE blessing in my life. I have come to really enjoy being in Gainesville and a large part of the reason why is having such a great friend to live life with here. Sometimes it is hard to find friends that "get you" and she does. She is an encouragement to me spiritually and that is something you can't find just anywhere. THANK YOU ALLISON FOR THE WAY YOU LOVE ME AND MY FAMILY!!!

Here are just a few pics of the decorations from the day to show how hard Allison worked to make this time so special. And of course, it is sprinkle themed :)

Go Tigers!

Though we are in a new season of life with TONS going on, we still found some time to break away and head up to Clemson this past weekend. We have good days and we have not so good days, but God is awesome during both. He draws us so close on those hard days because we need Him so bad, and on the good days He shows us how amazing He is and how He truly cares for us. I am thankful for both types of days (even though the hard ones are HARD).

On our way back from Clemson, Clays said it was one of his favorite days ever with our boys. He woke up and took them to breakfast and the park so I could have some down time home with Piper. When he came home around 11 o'clock, he spontaneously asked if I would like to head Clemson for the game (that started at 12). Sure. Why not?! We packed up and headed to Tigertown.

The weather was AMAZING and we were able to make it into the 4th quarter with no tickets. As we headed down the hill to the stadium, the boys were freaking out with excitement. The stadium was loud and all they kept doing is screaming and saying " Hut hut! Hut hut!" We were able to see a touchdown and Clemson win the game. When the game ended, we hung out in the stadium with friends, got to go on the field, and Uncle Caleb and Uncle Jamie got to meet Piper for the first time! Then we headed to the Grinstead's tailgate where we finished out our day...

Happening Now

The boys are told when they go to sleep that they are not allowed to get out their cribs and to obey Momma and Daddy and go to sleep. Minutes later this is what is happening...

So Daddy goes up and explains the consequences...

And after the discipline, a loving embrace from a father who loves his boys...

First Morning With Piper and First Bath

These are some pictures from our time in Texas. The first few were from the first morning we had her and the second group of pictures are from when we gave her her first bath! We didn't have a little tub for her so she was first in line to get washed before we did the dinner dishes :)
