Kimsey Christmas 2019

Christmas at the Kimseys this year was one of my favorites. We headed up to Lisa and Jimmy's on Saturday morning and started the festivities off with Jaime reminding the young (and old) ones of the greatest little gift we ever received...

After that, we headed down to the most organized display of gifts and treats that you ever did see! Lisa Kimsey knows how to do Christmas right! It is for sure a love language of hers that she has perfected and we get to benefit so greatly from it. The children (and adults) are so blessed by she and Jimmy's generosity. What a display of the Father's love!

The rest of the day we (the adults) got to enjoy each others company over mountains of food and coffee while the kids played with their new toys and enjoyed being with each other. It is impossible to walk away from such a day with anything but a grateful heart.

Here are a few pics from the day...

Halloween 2018

Another one in the books! Halloween this year was another great success. The weather was gorgeous and we went back to the "the Hills", our old neighborhood, to join our friends in the festivities of the night. Luckily they still will have us join in on the fun over there. I know we made the right decision for our family moving, but I couldn't help being a little sentimental when we walked up to our old house to trick-or-treat. We were so blessed to be there while we were and it makes me remember God's faithfulness and sweetness to our family.

Enough of the emotional stuff, here are some pictures of the crew... (the last pictures are from the Mother Son Halloween Dance last week)

Kimsey Beach Pics

This past week we have been at the beach with Clay's family and as I am back home with Clay packing up our house and downloading our pictures, it is impossible to not give God ALL the glory for His goodness and faithfulness to us! I was reminded this morning as I read about the life of Wynter Pitts, that life can change in moment and what matters most is that God is your anchor and your Savior. We will go through storms and trials, and maybe sudden tragedy but knowing He is still good and sent His Son to rescue us IS our hope in those storms. Praying that God continues to reveal this to me, Clay and my children. Here are some pics of my crew...
