Last Day of Kindergarten

We didn't know what this year would hold for these boys but it definitely past our expectations. They grew up this year. They learned to read and write. They spent 7 hours a day away from their momma. They made new friends that they will most likely know for a lifetime. It was a full year, and I am so proud of them and so thankful for the way the Lord watched over them and sustained them this year. His goodness was so evident and we continue to pray He moves and guides their hears towards Him!

P.S. A little shout out to an amazing husband that stepped up and took these pictures of their last day without me remembering to even ask him since I was out of town their last day of school...

And a throw back to the beginning of the year is always necessary (for comparison sake)...

JLF Golf Tournament 2017

A day we look forward to every year... the weather, golf, Clemson, and friends. JLF Memorial Golf Tournament is a time to celebrate the life of our friend Walt's sister and it has become a special day for us and the kids. This year we cut it a day short because we had a baseball game but we were still able to enjoy seeing everyone, getting to putt putt, pizza after the tournament, sleep in a hotel (the kids favorite) and Waffle House before heading back home (another one of the kids favorites). Here are some pics from the day...

Easter 2017

He has RISEN!!! Thank you Lord for Your Son and His sacrifice. What joy to know how loved we are!!! You alone are Lord and King. Hallelujah!!!

We kept it simple again this Easter. Morning egg hunt and baskets, church, out to lunch, and then a lazy family day at home sprinkled with some outdoor fun in the pool in the driveway. We got in some obligatory Easter morning pictures before heading out to Sunday morning service...

Tigers Spring Game

It would be an under statement to say our trip to Clemson was perfection. The weather was warm with a coolness in the air. The skies were blue. The "team" (the kids) was in good spirits. The town was bustling with enthusiasm for the upcoming year. And we got to sit in the perfect seats with our friends. Clemson was good to us and continues to be. Here are some pic from the day...
