This Christmas season is off to a great start. The kids are soaking up every sound, sight, and smell that come this time of year. I always wanted to have "traditions" for the kids but it seemed to be something that disciplined people did (which I am sadly not) with great intention. But much to my surprise, life brings tradition on its own. We just do "our" thing year after year, and BAM... we got some traditions. One of which is going to Lowe's to pick out a tree with a quick trip to Starbucks before and then we head on over to Target to let each of the children pick an ornament. And what would Christmas be without seeing the Nutcracker? Well, it would be fine by me, but this little lady has been begging for a year to go see the Nutcracker. So here she is all dressed up for her date with Daddy to go to the ballet...
Lastly, we had the joy of seeing the "babies" (when will I not consider them the babies anymore?!) in their Christmas program at school. The theme was "Christmas in our Jammies". It was such a sweet time watching them perform and just as sweet seeing the twins SO excited for their brother and sister...
