Kimsey Beach Week 2016

Somehow it is the end of the summer. Somehow my boys start real school in a matter of days. And somehow I haven't posted since the spring, even though we have had tons of adventures worth posting about. We have been to the Atlanta Zoo, Braves game, Football Camp, Charleston for the 4th of July, Windy Gap, and tons of other things squeezed in between. The summer has flown by!

We got to finish it off nicely with a long trip to Saint Simons Island. It has become our family's favorite week of the year and it has continued to live up to it this year. Here are a LOT of pictures from the week...

JLF Golf Tournament

One of our favorite weekends of the year is the annual JLF Golf Tournament that is held in Clemson in honor of one of our good friend Walt's sister. It is one time a year where we get to be back in Clemson with some of our favorite people to remember someone so special to our close friend. It is a tradition that not only we look forward to, but our kids look forward to as well. They LOVE Clemson and a good hotel ;) so they are in heaven. This year we went up on Friday night to enjoy the Tigers baseball game and then of course the next day was filled with golf. On Sunday we finished our trip off with lunch at Pot Belly Deli and then headed home. It was a sweet time with the babes that we will continue to enjoy year after year. Here are some pics from the beautiful weekend...

Easter Time!

This year we would have been in Charleston for Easter but since we are running the Bridge Run next weekend, we opted to stay home. We had a nice little family Easter morning, went to church, and followed it up with lunch out to eat. Later Clay's family came over for a low key dinner and an Easter egg hunt inside for the cousins. I didn't have my camera out much and didn't get too many good pics, but here are a few from the day...
