Picking Out Our Tree

 I LOVE picking out Christmas trees (putting them up is a different story). This year we headed to Starbucks as a family to get hot chocolate before heading over to pick out our tree. This was a fun little treat for the kids and they have the cutest little sized cups for them (and they even will make them "child" temperature so they can drink right away)! This year Charlie found "THE tree" and he was so very proud of himself. He should be, because it IS a good looking tree. Next we always let the kids pick out an ornament that represents something they like at this age. Here are some pics of our outing...

Giving Thanks

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year up at Clay's parents house. We were sad to be missing some of our family but still managed to have a sweet day of thanks and fellowship. After we took some family pics, the kids got a special gift from their Grandmommy and sweet Georgia read a Psalm to focus us on what we are most thankful for, Christ the Lord! Then we dug right in...
