Charles Town Landing

When we go to Charleston, my mom loves to do stuff with the kids that maybe I wouldn't be able to do by myself with them (or lets say, I wouldn't be able to ENJOY doing by myself with them). So on Wednesday we ventured out early to try to beat the heat and went to Charles Town Landing. The boys are really into animals right now (mostly what animal is the fastest and what animals consume) and pirates, so this adventure was right up their alley. Here are some pics from the day...

#belkbeachweek

School has been out now for a few weeks and summer is in full swing! We have been fairly busy with everyday life but this past week we were in Charleston visiting my family. A lot is going on back home with cousins graduating, babies being born, my brother moving to LA and the list goes on! While I was home, my fabulous parents watched my children for the weekend so I could go spend some time with Clay in St. Simons. It was just a short trip but a much needed time to spend focusing on us. I headed back to Charleston after the weekend and got to go down to Folly Beach and spend time with my aunt, uncle and cousins (and their children) at their beach house. It was so good to catch up and spend time with them. Here are some pics from our day...
