Christmas On Green Street

This past Sunday we got int the Christmas spirit by going to watch the Christmas on Green Street parade. We have loved living in the city this past year and and since this is our second time to walk to the parade, I guess it is now becoming a new annual tradition. The boys really loved it this year because they remembered it from last year and so that made it extra special. They were so excited to see all the old "race" cars, Santa Claus, and especially the Grinch!

Here are just a few pictures from the parade...

Thankful in 2014

We were in Charleston this Thanksgiving and it was a wonderful time getting to see all of our family. This year we had a little accident with Charlie falling in the fire pit on the annual "Boys River House Trip" and though we hate that he had to experience something so awful, it made us even MORE thankful for how blessed we are. Until things like that happen, you begin to take for granted so many blessings we have like health and life... Though Charlie's wounds were significant to us, in comparison to what so many families are going through or have gone through, it is a "minor" inconvenience. We are so thankful the rest of his body was spared from the fire and we see it as a miracle and act of God that He was saved from more trauma.

Here are some pics from our Thanksgiving Day at Mimi and Poppi's house...
