Poor Charlie

Tonight when we put the boys to bed, Miller didn't move an inch. He was SO tired that he passed right out! Charlie has been so bored being up by himself. He has just sat on the side of his bed tapping his feet. Finally, he had enough. He got out his bed and sat on Millers bed... RIGHT BESIDE HIM. It is so sweet. He just wants to be with him, right by his side... even if Miller is sleeping!

Big Boy Beds

We have been waiting to get the boys in big boy beds and they are finally going to be here this Monday. Since we will be really busy this weekend, we decided to break down their cribs last night and set up the mattresses so that we will be ready to put them in the beds when they are here. It went GREAT! They stayed in their beds the whole night. They didn't get out... or fall out :) Here are two pics from this morning. The first one is right before they went to bed, the next at 6:15 am and then the third was 8:15 am. Honestly, it is sad, they aren't babies anymore...

Piper Picture Overload... Can't Help Myself

While the boys are napping, I decided to snap a few pictures of Piper in MY Christmas dress that my Momma smocked me when I was a baby! Here are a few from the shoot (I know most of them look alike but she is just too cute to cut any out!)...

Merry Christmas from The Kimseys: 2012

I am sad to say we weren't able to send out as many cards this year as I would have liked, BUT good thing we have the blog so we could share with everyone... MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Santa... Third Times a Charm

So tonight didn't go as planned. We were going to head down to Buford to get the boys haircut, go out to eat, do some holiday shopping  browsing, and see SANTA! But, things don't always go as planned. Clay got strep throat and is feeling miserable. I was wishing, hoping, and paying he would start to feel better so we could still go, but it just didn't happen. So we could still get out the house, I took the boys to Chickfila and then we headed to Walmart because we are in desperate need of some bare essentials. WELL, low and behold, we pulled up to Walmart and Santa Claus was there! I was like a child! I felt so blessed. The Lord had brought him to me! Ha. But in all seriousness, it was so special and I did feel like the Lord led me there because I really wanted to have a special time as a family and it hadn't worked out. I was so happy! AND it was sponsored by Coca Cola, so it was FREE (which we like free) and they give you a picture immediately afterwards. Oh, and NO LINE. It was amazing. All that and a cool Coke truck. I do have a love for Diet Coke, and now it is even bigger. I also talked my friend Allison into coming and bringing her babe! It was just an unexpected blessing...

Oh, and did I fail to mention that the boys were hysterically crying AGAIN this year. I was sue they would love it. They have been saying "Anta Caus" every time they see anything remotely like Santa so I thought they would love it. Oh no, they gripped me and were screaming bloody murder the whole time. Had I not been alone, I would have thrown them up there by themselves, but there was no way I was going to get them off of me... So I had to join in on the fun if we were going to get this picture. Remember last years... (it was just as fun)

I guess they liked him the first time around...

A Beautiful Night

We are in Charleston for the weekend because two of my cousins were getting married. Even though we didn't bring the boys, it still feels just about as busy as if we had. How does that happen?! Oh well... Just wanted to post a few pics from tonights festivities...

I think my Dad looks just about as young as my brothers, don't you?

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

It was our third time getting a Christmas tree with the boys, and it was Piper Lou's first time! I love these precious little children and the time I get to spend with them. Making memories with them is priceless and I thank the Lord for this wonderful blessing. Here are some pictures from our outing, and no, I didn't mean to match the boys, it just happened because I was trying to wear Christmas colors... Oh well.
